What will my classes be like?

Immersion, one-on-one style:

One teacher - one student

Our immersion classes are one-on-one. Just you and your instructor. You  will be surprised at how fast you can learn with this much attention.

Hours:

Classes run from Monday-Friday. You may choose between morning and afternoon lessons and have the choice of studying 4, 5 or 6 hours a day.

Personalize your lessons:

After writing a placement test to assess your level of Spanish, your teacher will modify his or her teaching methods to meet your academic needs and your personal wishes.

Teaching methods:To keep you interested and excited about learning, classes consist of various methods: grammar (of course!); written and oral exercises; structured and unstructured conversations; and formal lectures. At times, teachers have also been known to shake up a lesson by listening to lyrics from Latin songs.

Teaching Material:

Our teaching material includes up-to-date texts developed for students who are learning Spanish as a second language. Additionally, we use literary works as well as current newspapers and magazines.

STUDENTS SPEAK!

¨Choosing a school in Xela could take time as there are so many... what attracted me to CBA was the school‘s professionalism but also the fact that they realised having a fun and friendly atmosphere makes studying so much easier. There was so much interaction between the teachers and students- in and out of lessons- making sure we put to practice all the spanish we learned in class.¨´
