Easy! Instruction begins the week the student arrives and ends when he or she chooses to leave. We’re flexible!
How to enroll in CBA?
To enroll each student must submit an application and a one time (non-refundable) $30.00 US registration fee. This fee guarantees your enrollment in the school and your room for 7 days with a Guatemalan Family. This fee is used to help offset some necessary school expenses (i.e. print advertising, mailings, web hosting, design & maintenance, flyers, phone calls and other promotional expenses).
Please fill out your application and make a reservation online through our secure server, by US Mail or by fax. Payment methods are: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Money Order or Check.
This fee is NOT part of your tuition, which you will pay upon arrival. You may pay your tuition in US Dollars, Guatemalan Quetzals, Traveler’s Checks Visa or MasterCard.
When your application and fee have been received, you will receive an email confirmation of your reservation at the school. Please remember that simply requesting classes by email does not guarantee you a space in the school.

¨CBA was recommended to me through a girl a friend of mine met in Paris. So first I hesitated and had a look at other schools on the web. But finally I decided for it anyway because it is not too big, family run and seems to be very flexible. I am VERY glad I took that decision. CBA is a pure familiy business and you feel member of it even only after one week. The language course principle is the same for every language school in Xela, that‘s why small things are even more important: a great atmosphere, flexibility, help and support for things also outside of the lessons, and great teachers. Also their openness to other cultures and backgrounds is remarkable and not given in all schools. Looking forward to going back to Xela and CBA.¨
